Back in January 2013, we had Online Resources, Inc. talk to our chapter about 3D printing and all the wonders that it could do. He was able to bring in some pieces that had been created using a 3D scanner and the process generated lots of discussion and questions. So, what has happened in the industry in the past six years? There have been major developments and changes. So, we are going to have a presentation from Online Resources, Inc. a 27-year old company located in Lebanon, Indiana bring us up to date about the changes and growth within this aspect of the technology world and the path they have taken due to a rapidly changing environment.

The presentation will include the latest in Reverse Engineering, and Digital Scanning (and wow things have changed). The industries that use their technology include Architectural, Arts and Culture, Aviation, Manufacturing, and Medical. Mr. Schaumberg will detail the process of how these technologies are used in industry to improve quality, reduce lead times, and solve problems. The presentation will include a demonstration of a digitizing scanners that he will bring along to the presentation. Presenters: Mr, Jay Schaumberg, founder and president of the corporation who has grown the company from a small software company to a leader in the industry. Assisting Jay will be his son, JD Schaumberg who has worked alongside his dad for many years and will soon take over as president.
